My 4-month-old has had mild cradle cap since her second month. It didn't bother her, but seeing the little flakes on her scalp every morning when I pick her up annoys me. I've tried various moisturising creams, but I can't say they've been very effective. It hasn't worsened, but there's been no improvement either.
In the last few months, I've been pumping and storing milk, which has been taking up a lot of space in my freezer. To make room for fresher milk, I began using the frozen milk for a milk bath. Yesterday was my first attempt, and this morning, when I picked up the baby, I noticed a significant reduction in the quantity of flaky skin. What's left is much smaller than usual. I am now fully convinced of this hack!
I used around 400ml of frozen breastmilk mixed with warm water. I'm not particularly fond of its smell, haha! It does have a slight oily texture. Nevertheless, seeing a natural remedy like this work is incredibly satisfying! Give it a try and let me know via the chat icon if it works for you too!
